This weekend will see a new procedure for checking into all Handicap Qualifying Competitions. We are presently having a card printing machine installed in the shop.
In future you will be required to "Sign-In" at the touch screen on arrival at the shop. Your details will then be transfered to the card printing machine which will be located behind the desk. Your card will be presented to you with your Name, Handicap and Date on it. It is important to note that this is your only official competition card. If for any reason your score is returned on a card that is not machine printed, then you will need to explain why it should be accepted.
This will help your Competition Committee to ensure that everyone who has played in the competition has Signed-In. It will also ensure that you have not forgotten to put your name and handicap on the card ( Yes it does happen - regularly). Please note that if you have guests playing in Singles Competitions during Open Week, they must have their GUI card or at least their CDH number with them.
